Mark commenced his career in June 1991 and has gained over 32 years’ experience in Civil and Structural Engineering, initially starting as a trainee technician, progressing through technical, design engineer, project engineer and Associate Director roles before becoming a Director, taking on more complex tasks as his role has evolved.
He has worked on many refurbishment projects over the years and has achieved a great knowledge and understanding of historic properties and how they work. This has enabled him to provide sensible, cost-effective solutions to the many refurbishments he has been involved with.
He is the project engineer on the multi-million-pound redevelopment of the property Les Bardeaux. This project involved demolishing an existing dwelling and constructing 11 luxury apartments with semi-basement construction for three stories where the new building was built into the hillside. This involved a contiguous wall to prop the hillside in the temporary condition prior to constructing a reinforced concrete structure. The foundations were further complicated with the new dwelling part on soil and part on rock.
Mark’s spare time is spent being active, enjoying walks, mountain biking and golf. Having participated in the 2023 White Collar Darts tournament he finds himself still practicing darts at home.
