Miguel joined RGA in July 2016 after relocating to Jersey from Madeira. He has a Masters in Civil Engineering obtained from the University of Madeira in 2012 and has been a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers since 2016.
His focus is on structural design using different types of material and construction techniques; temporary works design and detail; and secondary elements design.
In his spare time, Miguel enjoys spending time with his family, participating in outdoor activities. He also keeps active playing and coaching basketball. He has been part of the Jersey Basketball Island men’s team since 2018 and represented Jersey in the 2019 Island Games in Gibraltar. He has also played in various inter-insular games versus Guernsey.
